The Grove Village Park (the building behind pickle ball courts)

In this two hour cookie decorating workshop, participants will dive right in and decorate four Valentine themed cookies, as well as a box of Valentine mini “cookie” chocolates and candies. Includes packaging to take home your cookies. Perfect for gifting to your Valentine, or to keep for yourself! No experience necessary, guided instruction will be provided for those new to decorating with royal icing. All cookies, royal icing (vanilla & chocolate), step by step instructions and tools needed to decorate will be ready for you. Come and have fun creating Valentines Day themed cookies while learning new cookie decorating skills!

What’s Included in this workshop?

Four 3.5” baked cookies, eleven 2” baked cookies, printed visual step by step instructions, two flavors of royal icing, tools, practice sheet, pre-made Valentine royal icing “chocolates” for decorating, and printed chocolates royal icing transfer sheet. Digital sugar cookie recipe, royal icing recipe & instructions, available upon request.

You’ll learn the following:

Basic intro to cookie decorating, how to pipe a line, how to flood a cookie, intro to creating dimension and texture in your cookie art, and creating and using royal icing transfers.

COOKIE DECORATING CLASSES!

What: In this 2 hour class, you will learn the basics of creative cookie decorating. You will learn how to make and work with royal icing utilizing various techniques. All supplies & cookies will be included for you to take home. Just come to class! $70 for Sussex residents.

When: One morning & one evening class offered each month in September, October, November & December of 2022

Where: The Grove at Village Park, located in Sussex

Why: A fun and festive outing where you may master the basics of decorating your own cookies. Learn how to make and gift special cookies to your loved ones. Come with a friend! Each month offers an applicable theme. September: Boho Botanicals, October: Spooky Halloween, November: Pumpkins & Turkeys, December: Winter Wonderland
